Ekta and SMART CAMP Collegues Publish a Paper in Plos One

Julia Dias joins the group as Lab Manager
Julia Dias joins the VVGroup as laboratory operations manager. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University and has experience working as both an undergraduate research assistant as well as a clinical research coordinator. Welcome Julia!
The Lab Moves to NYC
The time has finally come for the lab to make its move! All equipment and other belongings were packed up and moved from its former home at MIT to its new base at Cornell University campuses in New York City. Looking forward to what the future has in store for the VVGroup in New York City!
The Team Visits NYC
The team makes its way to New York City to visit the lab’s future home. Together, we toured the two new lab spaces: one situated west of the East River at Weill Cornell Medical Campus, and the other located on Roosevelt Island at Cornell Tech campus. We are excited for our lab group’s establishment and growth within Cornell University!

Ming Receives Fellowship Renewal
Ming received a renewal of his Hugh Hampton Young Fellowship! We are grateful to the Hugh Hampton Young Memorial Fund and MIT’s Office of Graduate Education for their continued support.
Krystyn is Named Vice President for Research & Innovation at Cornell
Principal Investigator, Dr. Krystyn Van Vliet, who is now serving as associate provost and associate vice president for research at MIT, will soon join Cornell University as vice president for research and innovation. With this new position, the Van Vliet Group will also experience a move from its current lab space at MIT, to a new home in New York City. Congratulations to Krystyn for this great accomplishment and exciting appointment!
